Christ Agony

Hailing from Poland, house to some from the world’s most excessive rock rings, the controversially named Christ Agony was the brainchild of enigmatic, ever present leader Cezar (vocals/guitar), whose early-days cohorts included bassist Mauser and drummer Gilan. Rising in the first ‘90’s using the Unholy Union L.P., Cezar’s wicked crew quickly demonstrated simply because daringly inventive because they had been conceptually shocking, issuing a string of L.P.’s (including 1994’s Daemononseth: Action II and 1995’s Moonlight: Action III) which gradually advanced from viciously inaccessible to more and more advanced, culminating in 1996’s amazingly melancholy departure Darkside. Carrying out a Western european tour with fellow Polish favorites Behemoth, Cezar dedicated time to his aspect task Moon before resuming his use Christ Agony (today offering bassist Blackie and drummer Thoarinus) for two more aggressive, back again to simple albums in ‘98’s Trilogy and ‘99’s Elysium.
