A multifaceted Uk singer/songwriter having a penchant for collaborations and pairing traditional British folk with rootsy Americana, Chris While was created in 1956 within the seaport city of Barrow-in-Furness. The Lancashire indigenous spent her formative years honing her acoustic guitar and performing chops at regional folk clubs, ultimately departing her hometown to tour with her after that spouse, pianist/songwriter Joe While. The set divorced in 1991 even though launched a single profession with her debut recording Still burning. By Request showed up the following 12 months, and in 1993 she became a member of and became a fundamental element of the Albion Music group, with whom she’d play, tour, and record with until 1997. It had been around that point that she started an extended musical romantic relationship with fellow ex-Albion Music group member Julie Matthews, liberating a string of albums that started with Piecework in 1998. The duo’s 2010s providing, Who WE HAVE BEEN, was released in 2014 via FatCat Information.
