Biography
Author of a distinctive blues-rock/rap fusion, Baton Rouge local Chris Thomas (aka Chris Thomas Ruler) began performing blues acoustic guitar when he was 10, because of his dad, swamp blues vocalist Tabby Thomas. He continued tour along with his dad at age group 15, playing gigs across the South, but fell deeply in love with rap at exactly the same time. He documented two mainly blues-oriented albums for Sire Information, however when he made a decision to experiment with methods to incorporate his additional like, rap, into his musical range, everyone around him balked. Thomas strolled from the Sire offer and spent 2 yrs in European countries, honing his fresh sound, locating receptive audiences, and also recording several paths with Scandinavian music artists. He came back to America, authorized with Private Information, and released the recording 21st Hundred years Blues…From da ‘Hood, which he could give his new audio free rein.
