Though these were given birth to on different continents, Chris Anderson and Thomas Hein found music kinship at university in Liverpool, where both were studying. After college, they spent the previous few many years of the 20th hundred years driving around Britain within a van within a traveling cooking food show/restaurant that they had formulated, but ultimately they determined that music really was the road they wished to pursue. Shifting to LA in 2003, Chris & Thomas, because they decided to contact themselves, performed their first display collectively in November of this year. Making use of their unique but nonetheless recognizable design — both had been capable of performing and playing acoustic guitar, banjo, Dobro, and piano — they started to gain a pursuing, and, unbeknownst towards the duo, L.A. radio train station KCRW found their music “Consider These Thoughts.” Ultimately their EP, Vista Road Sessions, produced its way in to the hands of important DJ Nic Harcourt, who started placing their music, that was seriously affected by both American and English folk, in his rotation. In the summertime of 2006 Chris & Thomas’ debut full-length, Property of Sea, premiered within the U.K., and because of the overpowering response it got, in addition to the duo’s contribution towards the soundtrack from the Garry Marshall film Georgia Guideline, the recording was also slated to get a U.S. re-release in August of 2007.
