Chris Tarry

Juno Award-winner Chris Tarry is a prominent bassists in the present day jazz picture. Although located in NEW YORK, Tarry was created in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, on August 24, 1970. In 1993 he created his personal group, known as — certainly — the Chris Tarry Group, and with stated group documented and released eight albums during the period of the ensemble’s 15-12 months profession. The lineups of Tarry’s rings have already been ever-changing, leading to different noises, but also often leading to award nominations. In 2007 the Chris Tarry Group released the recording Almost Certainly Thinking, which garnered Tarry a Juno Honor nomination for 2008. Tarry received the award within an previously instance, as an associate of the group Metalwood, which presented prominent players Mike Murley, Ian Froman, and Brad Turner. He became a member of that group in 1996.
