Chris “Tambu” Herbert

A founding person in modern metal drum ensemble Charlie’s Root base, Chris “Tambu” Herbert played an essential function in the evolution of Trinidad’s well-known music. Starting his solo profession in 1986, Herbert positioned first in the street March competition for three directly years between 1988 and 1991. The next season, he relocated briefly to Boston to wait the Berklee University of Music. Although he came back to Trinidad in 1994, he under no circumstances recaptured his prior glory.
