Chris Perez

Chris Perez’s globe appeared to collapse, on March 31, 1995, as his wife and singer for his Tejano music group Los Dinos, Selena was murdered with the former leader of her enthusiast membership, Yolanda Saldivar. Over time of mourning, Perez produced his go back to music with a fresh Rock and roll en Espanol group, the Chris Perez Music group, offering La Mafia bassist Rudy Martinez, previous Los Dinos keyboardist Joe Ojeda, vocalist John Garza and drummer Jesse Esquivel. The band’s bi-lingual debut recording, Resurrection, released in 1999, showcased Perez’s songwriting with nine tunes that he published or co-wrote with Ojeda. In overview of the recording, the San Antonio Express Information published, “the music is actually dance-flavored, rock-fueled, popcraft spiced by blues, spirit and folk.” San Antonio-born Perez released his musical profession, in 1989, as guitarist for any bar-room group, Shelly Lares. His most effective work, however, arrived in collaboration along with his past due wife. Their four albums with Los Dinos, the music group they distributed to her sister, Suzette Arriaga, and her sibling, A.B. Quintanella, brought them local acclaim. Their focus on Selena’s single albums attracted worldwide attention.

2 I can't say anything about how I am going to feel in another hour much less you know a year from now or something. After what has happened... honestly I still feel married because I still feel that big part of me.
