Jazz bassist and composer Chris Dahlgren was created in NEW YORK in 1961; after implementing the cello at age group seven, as a teenager he relocated to bass, later on graduating from the faculty Conservatory of Music in the University or college of Cincinnati furthermore to studying tone of voice and structure under minimalist visionary La Monte Adolescent. Honing his abilities alongside performers including Joe Lovano, Charles Tolliver, Crimson Rodney and Plant Ellis, Dahlgren surfaced as an integral player within the downtown NYC picture, also touring as an associate from the Cincinnati folk rock and roll combo On the Rhine; he produced his single debut in 1996 with Decrease Commotion, adopted a year later on by Resonance Impeders. In 1998, he became a member of the Jazz Mandolin Task; the solo Greatest Intensions made an appearance in early 2000.
