Chris Botti

Though most widely known like a contemporary jazz performer, trumpeter Chris Botti made his initial splash around the pop music scene. A indigenous of Oregon, he began playing at age ten, and started performing expertly while still in senior high school. After learning in the exclusive Indiana University or college music system under mentioned jazz educator David Baker, Botti relocated to NY, where he offered with saxophonist George Coleman and trumpet great Woody Shaw.
