A blue-collar, hard-rocking, and metal-tinged outfit away of Baltimore, MD, Particular Son were shaped originally as the music group 40 Acres by drummer, singer, and songwriter John Allen and guitarist Nick Kay, who had previously played collectively in the music group Child’s Play in the past due ’80s and early ’90s, issuing an individual album, CORPORATE JUNGLE, less than that name for Chrysalis Information in 1989. Allen stepped from his drum package to be the frontman and business lead vocalist for Forty Acres, who self-released the recording Broken Guarantee in 2007, with Kay posting guitar responsibilities with Vic Karrera and a robust rhythm portion of Anthony Arambula on bass and Jason Hesier on drums. Garnering a status like a charismatic live take action, the band transformed its name to Particular Son and authorized with Eleven Seven Music, a label operate by Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe.
