Silvi Wersing spent her formative years being a musician using bass and electric guitar within a string of rings, first in Germany, then in Britain, before striking from her own beneath the name Chorusgirl in 2012. Combining the loud, poppy noises of days gone by (the Remedy, Lush) with those of a far more recent classic (Vivian Ladies, Dum Dum Ladies), Wersing started recording demos on her behalf personal, and with maker Jan-Niklas Jansen, at Carry Cave Studio room in Cologne. When plenty of songs were prepared to become shown live, she created an organization. Bassist Udo Westhoff, drummer Michael Boyle, and guitarist Caroline Arvensis became a member of in early 2014, though Arvensis was quickly changed by Diogo Oliveira. The group released an individual (“No Moon”/”Desire on, Baby Blue” for the Unusual Package label’s 100 Golf club series in early 2015, after that later that 12 months released their self-titled debut recording on Fortuna Pop!
