Chessie

Originally treated like a side project for Lorelei bassist Stephen Gardner, Chessie was his method of experimenting with your guitar while involving his desire for trains. Gardner began documenting in 1994, toying along with his six-string and assorted loops to generate exclusive instrumental noise-pop. After Lorelei found a finish in 1996, Gardner experienced more time to spotlight Chessie, and in 1998 Drop Defeat Information released his 1st full-length Solitary Series. Continuing the partnership with Drop Defeat, Gardner adopted with second recording Meet up with in 1999. The next 12 months, Gardner added Ben Bailes towards the group, and in 2001 the duo released Overnight, an recording which finished extremely on many critics’ year-end polls. It required quite some years for the follow-up, Express, to turn out, however, achieving the general public in the wintertime of 2008 via Plug Study.
