Cherry Monroe

Glammy contemporary rockers Cherry Monroe shaped in 2004 when Youngstown, OH-based vocalist Matt Toka installed with Jason Levis (drums), Dave Saltzman (bass), and Ryan Harris (guitar), who’d been using the music group Outbound within their indigenous Pittsburgh. They discovered a common floor in Bowie, Wonderful 3, as well as the hooky marketability of modern groups just like the Killers, and had been soon composing a batch of tracks. Guitarist Frankie Bennett became a member of later, and soon Cherry Monroe got released their self-titled debut through Cleveland-based Corrosion Records. The music group eventually authorized to Universal Information and in August 2005 released a remixed, somewhat recut type of their debut because the Good, the Poor and the stunning. As well as the band’s originals, it included a cover from the Blondie traditional “Contact Me.”
