Biography
Probably one of the most respectable and sought-after Irish-American organizations in Celtic music, the all-female collective Cherish the Women formed in the first ’90s like a onetime concert music group by folklorist/musician Mick Moloney. Their heady mixture of stellar musicianship, breathtaking performing, and lively stage dancing soon received them fans all around the globe, producing a string of ten critically acclaimed information, the newest of which is definitely 2005’s Woman of the home. The group, comprising longtime innovator Joanie Madden, Mary Coogan, Heidi Talbot, Mirella Murray, and Roisin Dillon, possess distributed the stage and studio room with such famous performers as Joan Baez, Wayne Taylor, the Clancy Brothers, the Chieftains, Arlo Guthrie, and Pete Seeger.
