Cheeky Monkey

Cheeky Monkey was a collaboration between New York-based singer/songwriter Michael Shelley and Scotland’s Francis McDonald, an alumnus of such respectable pop devices as Teenage Fanclub, Eugenius as well as the BMX Bandits. As both performers had by no means previously met personally, the 1st batch of Cheeky Monkey tunes were made up over calling; finally, in Sept 1997, both converged on Glasgow, where in fact the tracks composed of their debut Four Hands to carry You were documented and stated in simply four times. The LP made an appearance early the next year.
