Chebere

You can find two sides to Argentinean band, Chebere; one linked with the tropical music custom, one embracing today’s world. While they primarily sported the original lineup of violin, accordion, piano, and bass, Chebere right now features synthesizer, electrical piano, body organ, drums, two trumpets, acoustic guitar, and saxophone. Shaped like a sextet offering violinist Hugo “Huesito” Terragni, pianist/vocalist Angel “Dark” Videla, accordionist Alberto Pizzichini, and vocalist Daniel “Sebastian” Reyna, Chebere performed their debut concert within the Argentinean town of Kioja, on June 19, 1974. The next yr, they toured as accompanists for young lady group Chichi. Although Reyna was changed by vocalist Julio Manzur, Chebere was urged by their achievement with Chichi. Leaving independently route, they released their debut recording, THAT IS Chichi, in 1976. Several vocalists possess performed with Chebere. Manzur was changed, in 1978, by Leo Fraga, who retired following a couple of months and was changed by Miguel “Pelusa” Calderon.
