One of the biggest performers of rai, Cheb Aissa (given birth to Ali-Sherif Benaissa) continues to create his ultra-light vocals and jovial persona to an assortment of traditional and contemporary urban melodies. Since credit scoring a major strike along with his second cassette, Bela-Babi, in 1988, Aissa provides continuing to attract supporters with his exclusive design of rai-trab, a tradition-based tune predicated on improvisations and vocal modulations.
