Che Arthur

Before you begin his solo career, singer/songwriter Che Arthur logged amount of time in several bands. Delivered in Portable, Arthur resolved in Tuscaloosa, AL in the first ’90s and used several local rings before developing a long-running loud indie outfit known as Universal Lifestyle and Accident. Shifting from Alabama towards the even more artistically complementary climes of Chicago in 1995, the music group toured frequently and released many singles and EPs but under no circumstances managed much publicity. After Universal Lifestyle and Accident split, Arthur became a member of Chicago’s Atombombpocketknife in 2001, but as that band’s non-singing business lead guitarist, he was often a foil to vocalist and major songwriter Justin Sinkovich. After two guaranteeing albums with Arthur, God Conserve the ABPK and Lack and Design, Sinkovich place Atombombpocketknife on indefinite keep and Arthur thought we would go on a single career. Arthur’s initial single album, 2004’s All your Tomorrows Had been Decided Today, was an unexpectedly simple, poppy affair provided the post-rock tendencies of his prior clothes. His second single album, Iron, premiered in Feb 2007.
