Dominican singer Un Chaval — also known as Un Chaval de la Bachata — was a dynamic recording artist for more than ten years before breaking in to the Latin music mainstream in 2007. Blessed Linar Espinal on Apr 12, 1978, in Juncalito Jánico, Dominican Republic, he transferred with his family members to the town of Santiago in 1985. He started his singing profession as an adolescent in 1993 using the record Si Te Vas, acknowledged to Un Chaval & Los Infantiles del Amargue; another early record using the same group, Amor de Mis Sueños… Ahora Si Mas Mambo, implemented in 1994. Over time away from industry, Un Chaval came back to documenting with some more and more mature albums, including Sentimiento Unico (1997), Enfermo de Amor (1998), Em fun??o de Toda la Vida (1999), Em virtude de Siempre (2000), Volvere (2002), Ayer con Hoy (2003), Devuelveme Todo (2004), No Te Llamo Más (2005), ¡En Vivo! (2007), and Ya Me Cansé (2007). The second option — like several albums, released by Mas Music — was his breakthrough, offering the popular music “Dónde Están Mis Amigos.” A greatest-hits collection, Su Mejors Exitos (2007), was put together and released by Mas Music shortly thereafter.
