Chase Pagan

Created in Arkansas but located in Memphis, TN, singer/songwriter Run after Pagan’s heart-on-sleeve tunes run into like Jeff Buckley for the Coldplay generation, managing earnest lyrics and impassioned (often falsetto) vocals with pleasantly catchy keyboard-based alternative pop. Remarkably, Pagan also offers roots within the post-hardcore alternate metal picture; his first creation deal came into being due to his demos dropping in to the hands of associates from the screamo react Glassjaw, who subsequently suggested Pagan to leading nu metal manufacturer Ross Robinson (Limp Bizkit, Slipknot). Agreed upon to Geffen Information through a cope with Robinson’s very own label, I Am Recordings, Pagan and Robinson documented Pagan’s suggested debut record through 2004 and early 2005, with support from Glassjaw’s Manny Carrero and Jane’s Addiction’s Stephen Perkins, amongst others. When an unimpressed Geffen turned down the finished record, Pagan noticed the stylistic handwriting in the wall structure and discontinued both Robinson and his nu steel leanings and only a complete creative overhaul. Reinventing himself being a delicate rocker, Pagan documented his second attempt at a debut record, Oh, Musica!, throughout a solitary two-week program that featured nearly entirely acoustic plans and different theatrical details. Pagan authorized to the indie label The Militia Group in past due 2006, as well as the free of charge digital launch of his debut EP, Oh, Musica!, occured in July of the next year.
