A longtime staple from the Canadian folk circuit, Ottawa-based singer/songwriter Charlie Sohmer spent near 2 decades honing his build in the concert stage before finally saving his debut discharge, 1991’s cassette-only Some Shadows Lead You On. Another four years handed down prior to the follow-up, the acclaimed Heart Jewels; Informal Rake made an appearance in 1997.
