Biography

Tx singer/songwriter Charlie Robison was created in Houston and raised on his family’s ranch in the city of Bandera; absorbing the music he noticed on the neighborhood honky tonk picture, he and sibling Bruce — later on an acclaimed performer in his personal right — had been also raised on artists which range from Dark Sabbath to Gram Parsons to Bruce Springsteen. After finding the growing music picture in close by Austin at age group 15, Robison started writing his very own material, drawing identical influence from rock and roll and nation; stints within the rings Chaparral and Two Hoots & a Holler implemented, and he also became a member of the Millionaire Playboys, an all-star Austin ensemble. After adding to albums from Alejandro Escovedo and Kelly Willis, Robison produced his single debut in 1995 with Bandera; Lifestyle from the Party implemented three years afterwards. Teaming up along with his youthful sibling, Bruce, and fellow Texan Jack port Ingram, in 2000 the trio released the properly called Unleashed Live. Another studio effort, Stage Best Up, was released in springtime 2001.
