An excellent journeyman pianist, Charlie Queener played in Dixieland, golf swing and mainstream configurations with many main brands throughout his profession. In early stages, Queener caused Muggsy Spanier (1942), the Harry Adam Orchestra, Glen Grey, Joe Marsala and Benny Goodman (1945-46). Queener resolved into Nick’s in NY for four years (1946-50) and spent a lot of his profession freelancing with Dixieland all-stars. Among his organizations had been Bobby Hackett, Billy Butterfield, Jimmy McPartland, Ruby Braff, Potential Kaminsky, Wingy Manone (1954-60), Crazy Costs Davison and Clarence Hutchenrider (on / off from 1958-73), among numerous others. Queener, who proved helpful in to the 1990s, also constructed orchestral works beginning in the middle-1960s but hardly ever led an archive program of his very own.
