Biography

Guitarist and composer Charlie Looker comes from NY , but relocated to Middletown, CT, to review under greats want Anthony Braxton and Alvin Lucier in Wesleyan College or university. There he collaborated with various other area musicians, like the Middletown Innovative Orchestra, and shaped his own music group, Lavender, with saxophonist Rees Archibald, clarinetist Julie Strand, and bassist Nat Baldwin. He in addition has caused New Yorkers, including Elliott Clear and Daniel Carter. Looker’s debut documenting as a head, Lavender, arrived by himself Identification Recordings label in 2001.
