b. 26 July 1922, Macon, Georgia, USA, d. 24 June 1975, NEW YORK, NY, USA. Walker’s profession being a blues vocalist and guitarist started in Newark, NJ, in 1955, and he documented for several small brands in the past due 50s and early 60s. Changing market tastes and relationship prompted him to retire from music in 1962, but after his wife’s loss of life in 1968 he begun to perform and record once again, and was simply beginning to end up being marketed to white viewers during his death. Never to end up being baffled with the spirit vocalist of the same name.
