b. 1 Oct 1913, NEW YORK, NY, USA, d. 20 Dec 2003, NEW YORK, NY, USA. As a kid Grean performed violin and went to research bass at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. His initial musical engagement emerged as an associate from the Catskill Mountains.
