As a classically trained pianist from Winnipeg, Chantal Kreviazuk gained an archive agreement from Sony — being a vocalist — without ever having performed live. Delivered in Manitoba, Kreviazuk was a prodigy on the piano, earning competitions and getting traditional education on piano in addition to voice.
