Chandeliers

Placing a danceable twist on art rock and roll, Krautrock, and avant-garde affects, Chandeliers’ kaleidoscopic electronic jams are artful yet accessible. Jointly the quartet of Cameron Brand, Chris Kalis, Harry Brenner, and Scott McGaughey used adventurous indie rock and roll rings like Icy Demons, Killer Whales, and Michael Columbia and started making digital music in 2004 as a getaway from Chicago’s chilly winters, debuting live afterwards that year on the College or university of Chicago. Their initial recording, the Blood flow single, arrived 2 yrs later, as well as the albums The Thrush, Dirty Movements, and Roulé (a divide with like-minded Chicagoans Mahjongg) between 2008 and 2010 uncovered more levels of Chandeliers’ entrancing energy. The grooves continuing on the record Founding Fathers, released in summertime 2012.
