Champloose

Champloose is among the few rock and roll rings from Okinawa to attract attention beyond its native property. Led by vocalist and songwriter Shoukichi Kina, the music group has toured across the world, getting a solid status because of its hard-edged garage area rock and roll strategy. A live record, The Music Power from Okinawa, was documented in Kina’s nightclub in 1977 and released in 1991.
