The Uk rock quartet Champion Kickboxer was formed in Sheffield by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Bates, keyboardist/guitarist/singer Sam Marsh, bassist/singer Sam Bunn, and drummer/singer Neil Piper. Agreed upon to the unbiased label Thee Sheffield Phonographic Company (aka Thee SPC), they released the one “Supertram”/”Like Him + Her + Her + Me” in June 2004. Their record Perforations followed in-may 2006. On Oct 16, 2007, the American unbiased label 54°40′ or Combat! released a edition of the record that added both earlier singles monitors as a reward.
