Dubbed “the Mixtape Messiah,” Houston’s Chamillionaire came late being a major-label artist during his city’s 2005 takeover of mainstream rap — the very best Ten Sound of Revenge, released during November that year, implemented albums from Mike Jones, Slender Thug, and previous Color Changin’ Click partner Paul Wall structure — but he previously already constructed a loyal pursuing outside the Southern and received significant printing coverage.
