Chambao

The three original members of Chambao — La Mari, El Edi, and Dani — produced waves in the world music scene using their new make of flamenco, called flamenco chill, which combined the passion and vocal design of traditional Andalusian flamenco with components of electronica, specifically chillout. Shaped in the first morning hours from the 2001 summer season solstice in Malaga, Spain, Chambao 1st appeared to the higher public for the 2002 Sony compilation Flamenco Chill, to that they added eight songs, offering Mari on vocals and others for the instrumentation. 2 yrs later their 1st single full-length, Endorfinas en la Mente, made by Italian electronica professional Bob Benozzo, premiered, followed another yr by Pokito a Poko, an archive which Dani added hardly any, as he remaining the group before it had been completed. After touring for Pokito a Poko, Edi also made a decision to depart through the band, departing Mari only as the final staying member. After effectively battling breast tumor, the singer came back to the level and studio room with Chambao, this time around with a fresh seven-piece backing music group. In 2007 the music group released their 4th studio recording Con Otro Aire. Frontwoman La Mari got the helm of composing, organizing and production responsibilities and her African and Mexican affects are obviously audible through the entire record. Chambao came back five years later on with their personal titled fifth launch. They enlisted Carlos Raya (Fito & Fitipaldis, M-Clan) on creation duties whose smooth skills go with the music group’s ambient combination of flamenco and digital music.
