String & the Gang produced their documented debut using the record Down with Liberty…Up with Stores!, released by K Information in Apr 2009. To aid the album’s discharge, String & the Gang lay out on a UNITED STATES tour using the Hive Dwellers, a fresh music group featuring K Information founder and Defeat Taking place/Halo Benders/Dub Narcotic AUDIO SYSTEM head Calvin Johnson; since it occurs, the Hive Dwellers feature the same support musicians as String & the Gang, with Johnson changing Svenonius as business lead vocalist.
