César Costa Filho

Composer César Costa Filho had achievement with “Dosage pra Leão,” “Tesoura Cega,” “Massa Falida,” and “Consumatum Est.” His tracks were documented by Maysa, Elis Regina, Claudette Soares, Eliana Pittman, Dóris Monteiro, and Elizeth Cardoso, amongst others. Still in 1969, Costa Filho’s “Visão Geral” (with Ruy Maurity and Ronaldo Monteiro de Souza) earned third place on the IV Celebration Internacional da Canção (FIC, or International Tune Celebration).
