Cephalic Carnage

This crazy concoction of truly experimental grindcore, death metal, and jazz came together in Denver, CO, in 1992. Founding people Lenzig (vocals) and Zak (electric guitar) come up with a demonstration entitled Scrape My Lungs in 1993 and took a rest until 1996 if they recruited John (drums), Steve (electric guitar), and Doug (bass). Immediately after their reformation they released another demonstration, Fortuitous Oddity, and hit the street on the self-financed tour over the U.S. in 1997. It had been in this tour the fact that band’s extreme live performances begun to create their popularity as a meeting not to end up being skipped. In 1998 they captured the attention from the Italian label Headfucker Information, who released Cephalic Carnage’s debut record Conforming to Abnormality. Following this discharge, bassist Doug was changed by Jawsh as well as the music group toured once more. They continued to try out the infamous Milwaukee Metalfest in 1998, and in 1999 they produced the celebration circuit playing the Dallas Grindfest, the Ohio Deathfest, as well as the Denver Hatefest. Relapse information selected them up in 2000 and released their second record Exploiting Dysfunction. Travels with Napalm Loss of life and Dillinger Get away Plan implemented, but Cephalic Carnage stepped off the street to record Lucid Period in the springtime of 2002.
