Poland’s Cemetery of Scream formed in the first ’90s and featured vocalist Marcin Kotas, guitarists Marcin Piwowarczyk and Artur Oleszkiewicz, bassist Jacek Krolik, and drummer Grzegorz Ksiazek. Not really content with carrying out conventional doom/loss of life metallic, the quintet added gothic nuances, key pad atmospherics, and also the occasional feminine voice with their sole documenting, 1995’s ambitiously minded but mundanely entitled Melancholy recording, before vanishing from view.
