Celtas Cortos certainly are a Celtic rock-band from Spain whose reputation spans multiple years and whose music is eclectic, pulling from an array of styles. A number of the band’s most well-regarded tracks consist of “20 de Abril” (1991) and “Tranquilo Majete” (1993). Shaped in 1986 in Valladolid, Spain, the music group began its documenting profession in 1988 using a three-song contribution towards the compilation record Así Ha sido Como Suena: Folk Joven. While its lineup would go through numerous changes over time, at its inception the music group included Jesús H. Cifuentes (aka Cifu; electric guitar, vocals), Nacho Castro (drums, percussion), Carlos A. Soto (flute, whistle, gaita), Goyo Yeves (flute, whistle, saxophone), Nacho Martín (key pad), Luís M. de Tejada (violin), Óscar tissue García (bass), César Cuenca (electric guitar), and Alberto García (violin, trombone). In 1989 Celtas Cortos produced their full-length record debut with Salida de Emergencia, a assortment of Celtic rock and roll instrumentals. The band’s second record, Gente Impresentable (1990), was the first ever to are the vocals and lyrics of Cifuentes. Through the entire remainder from the 10 years, the music group released brand-new albums frequently: Cuentame el Cuento (1991), Tranquilo Majete (1993), Vamos! (1995), En Estos Dias Inciertos (1996), Nos Vemos en los Bares (1997), Un Alquimista Loco (1998), and Tienes la Puerta Abierta (1999). Following the switch of the hundred years, a few compilations had been released before the departure of Cifuentes through the music group in 2002, this following departure of César Cuenca in 1993 and Nacho Martín in 1996. Celtas Cortos eventually regrouped and released a few albums (C’est la Vie [2003], Celtificado [2004]) before Cifuentes rejoined the music group for the 20th wedding anniversary double-disc work 20 Soplando Versos (2006). The follow-up record, 40 de Abril (2008), demonstrated especially well-known, debuting within the very best Five from the Spanish albums graph.
