Perhaps one of the most requested Brazilian bassists, Celso Pixinga had his initial record released in 1986 (Concentração/Celso Pixinga, 440 e Zona Sul) accompanied by various other seven instrumental albums (quite an success, particular the Brazilian marketplace), which range from pop to fusion having a pinch of jazz. In Feb 1995, Celso Pixinga performed double in the Blue Notice (NY NY). Within the next 12 months the same display was offered in the SESC São Paulo space, city where the instrumentalist is situated. His solo functions have been offered also within the Madalena Jazz/Blues task, in the São Paulo Tradition Middle (CCSP) and in the Bourbon Road Music Golf club. In 1999 he followed Gilberto Gil, Jane Duboc and Egberto Gismonti in the Heineken Concerts and within the next 12 months he was an associate from the Brazilian music group that supported Taj Mahal in his Brazilian shows.
