Slovakia-based vocalist Celeste Buckingham is usually a soulful pop and R&B-influenced artist who found prominence following appearing around the 2011 season from the Slovakian reality TV talent competition Cesko Slovenská Superstar. Given birth to in Zurich, Switzerland in 1995, Buckingham was raised inside a multicultural home with her father, who was given birth to in Chicago, and her mom, a naturalized Swiss resident from Iran. During her adolescence, Buckingham resided for a while in Anchorage, Alaska, where her dad worked like a cardiologist.
