Cédric Tiberghien

Cédric Tiberghien is usually a French pianist. He began monitoring piano at five, acquiring lessons from Michele Perrier in Noyon. He went to the Paris Conservatoire, where he analyzed with Frédéric Aguessy and Gérard Fremy, and in 1992 he received the Leading Prix. Between 1993 and 1998, Tiberghien participated in a number of international competitions, earning awards in Bremen, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Geneva, and Milan, and acquiring First Prize in the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud International Competition in Paris in 1998. He contains over 60 concertos in his repertoire, and he offers appeared in collaboration with a number of the world’s leading orchestras. A keen chamber musician, he offers collaborated with violinist Alina Ibragimova, violist Antoine Tamestit, and cellist Pieter Wispelwey, and offers followed soprano Sophie Karthäconsumer and baritone Stéphane Degout in vocal recitals. Tiberghien offers given single recitals in NY, Washington, London, Paris, Salzburg, Sydney, and Tokyo. Focusing on functions by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, and Debussy, Tiberghien provides extended his repertoire to add music by Szymanowski, Ravel, Berg, and Bartók. He was honored being a BBC New Era Musician from 2005 to 2007. He provides documented for Hyperion and Harmonia Mundi.
