Cedar Wind

The gentle melodies from the Local American flute are fused using the sounds of classical silver simply by Cedar Blowing wind, a Wisconsin-based duo featuring classical flute, wind synthesizer, and keyboards player; record manufacturer; and composer Al Jewer and Indigenous American flute participant and traditional guitarist Christine Ibach. Associated with hands drums, rattles, and bells, both musicians collaborate to generate an aural atmosphere of natural-sounding melodies. Motivated by her Cree traditions, Ibach received her initial flute in a Mohican powwow. Learning with Local American jazz flautist R. Carlos Nakai, she created a distinctive, world-conscious method of the wind device. Blessed to French lineage, Jewer provides previously worked being a classical flute participant and program musician.
