Ce Ce Rogers

Cleveland-born vocalist Ce Ce Rogers wisely transformed his name from Kenny in order to avoid confusion using the nation/pop singer. Adam Dark brown nicknamed him Ce Ce as a teenager, after viewing the youthful Rogers imitate Chubby Checker. Rogers afterwards researched music in Boston, where he was a classmate of Wynton Marsalis. Marsalis urged him to focus on his vocals. Rogers shifted to NJ and shaped Ce Ce & Business, where he caused vocalist Sybil. After manufacturer Marshall Jefferson noticed his present, he recruited Rogers to sing the vocals on the song he’d created entitled “Someday.” The tune did sufficiently for Rogers to property his own offer. His 1989 LP Forever was well received by dance viewers, and he implemented it in 1991 with Under no circumstances Give Up.
