Guitarist Tim Gane and drummer Joe Dilworth spent years jointly recording and executing in the critically lauded kosmische pop group Stereolab before forming instrumental electronic trio Cavern of Anti-Matter in the wintertime of 2012. Joined up with by synth participant/general digital manipulator Holger Zapf, the Berlin-based group quickly created a Krautrock-indebted audio that relied greatly on treated tools and experimental consumer electronics. The mini-album Bloodstream Drums was documented totally in mono to analog tape, after that digitally altered to reproduce stereo. The recording saw launch on double-vinyl within the Grautag label in 2013; that yr, the 12″ You’re a skill Spirit EP also made an appearance on Associated Electronic Recordings. Two even more short produces, 2014’s Interlude Music and Total Availability & the Personal Future, showed up before 2016’s established debut recording, Void Beats/Invocation Trex, which presented collaborations with Mouse on Mars’ Jan St. Werner, Sonic Growth, and Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox.
