Cattle Prod

CattleProd was an indie music group in the Seattle area using a flavor for odd instrumentation. Their lone record, Secretly Happy, premiered in 1989 by the tiny Community 3 label, and highlighted song game titles like “Tongues Are Green,” “I Hate Hate,” and “Satan Is normally Boring.” The group afterwards relocated to Madison, Wisconsin, where a few of its associates shifted to Headpump. Percussionist Sheila McCarthy ultimately moved to NY, where she caused Autobody and Drumhead, amongst others.
