Cattle & Cane

Officially formed in ’09 2009, Cattle & Cane included four members from the same family, meaning their musical bond — in children rich with musical talent — went way outside of that of your regular indie folk band. With Joe Hammill offering intricately selected guitars and soaring vocals alongside the tips and softer tone of voice of his sister Helen, Cattle & Cane captured the hearing of r / c around the region of Teeside in the north east of Britain, following the discharge from the debut EP Sold My Spirit. The group, which also contains Fran and Vinny Hammill on guitar and bass, respectively, and drummer Paul Wilson — who isn’t relative but did develop up over the road in the Hammills — had been then chosen with the BBC to try out Scotland’s T in The Recreation area Festival this year 2010. A string of airplay from famous brands BBC 6Music implemented in 2011 after the music group acquired released their self-titled EP. In 2012, Cattle & Cane journeyed to Beijing to try out for an viewers of hundreds for the Chinese language New Yr, before putting your signature on to Sentric Posting and entering the studio room to focus on their debut full-length.
