Catapult released just one record throughout their tenure, 1998’s The Structures of the Calendar year, released in 1998 in California indie label Blackbean and Placenta Information. The band blended shoegazer sensibilities with dub beats, intertwined with soft vocals in the vein of My Bloody Valentine, Pleasure Department, and Mogwai. Drummer Sean Dack continued to drum using the Swirlies and, strangely enough, afterwards aimed a video with the band Korn.
