Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgen shaped Cassegrain in 2008 after conference at the Crimson Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, having quickly bonded more than their mutual understanding of electronic music. Turkish-born Evirgen acquired had a rigorous musical education, playing piano from age seven while learning structure in Istanbul with the Mozarteum School in Salzburg, while Greek-born Tsiridis created his music abilities through software applications and developing up with a like of IDM and dance music generally. Cassegrain’s first discharge came this year 2010, using the one Natural cotton on Mikrowave, that was implemented a year afterwards by their initial discharge, the Dropa EP, for Munich-based deep and dark techno label Prologue. The duo’s discharge schedule elevated throughout 2012, with singles arriving on Modal Evaluation, M_REC LTD, Killekill, and Prologue, while DJ and live pieces and blog performances raised their profile. The entire year 2013 noticed the set remixing Dutch techno musician Charlton Ravenberg aswell as Alexander Kowalski’s Dircksen, while a cooperation with Tin Man and another discharge for Prologue, the six-track EP Tiamat, also made an appearance. Cassegrain done their debut record, Centers of Distraction, in 2014; released by the end of that calendar year, the record was preceded with the EP Bloodstream Distributed as Pure Color.
