Cary Hudson

Cary Hudson was created in the tiny church-oriented city of Sumrall, MS. It had been here that the near future musician grew to understand all varieties of music, which range from chapel music and gospel to blues and nation. In the past due ’80s, Hudson created the Hilltops, which developed into Blue Hill, with partner Laurie Stirratt and John Stirratt. The group toured the American South and released one recording before John Stirratt remaining to create Uncle Tupelo. Blue Hill continued like a trio, with Frank Coutch playing drums. The music group released four albums over that point, including Tales of the Tourist (Roundrunner) in 1999. The group ultimately split in 2001, however, not before Origins premiered. In 2002, Hudson released his 1st single outing on Dark Dog Information, The Phoenix. He offers distributed the stage with Steve Earle aswell as Marah, the group he found out in 1998 and which ultimately Hudson helped obtain signed. He offers toured extensively through the entire USA and European countries, having finished a three week tour of Germany in the springtime of 2002. Great Breeze made an appearance on Black Doggie two years later on.
