The mysterious avant-industrial-black metal project Carrier Flux is in fact the task of an individual man, one Jeff Phillips, whose complex vision and unusual talent for integrating distinct strains of rock right into a strange new crossbreed are, at least, impressive. After bowing with 2000’s individually released Introspective Headache recording, Carrier Flux authorized with Athens, Greece-based Dark Lotus Information and released 2002’s sophomore In Waste materials opus.
