Carramona

Carramona is among the essential numbers of choro in the belle époque. Like a young man, he became a member of the band from the Meninos Desvalidos, in the Carioca community of Vila Isabel. Impressed by his overall performance, the Princess Isabel demanded he become taken to her existence. Learning that he previously a blind vision, the princess offered him a cup eye to set up. In 1900, Carramona became a member of the prominent Banda perform Corpo de Bombeiros, occupying the positioning of grasp, substituting for the conductor Agostinho Pereira, who experienced changed the band’s creator Anacleto de Medeiros.
